Who do single players swap scorecards with in PGA events?

Now that Sergio was DQ'd from the PGA, after his golf partner wrote down his wrong score, Ryan Benzel, is scheduled to tee off tomorrow at 8:50, all alone. Normally golfers in PGA events swap scorecards at the beginning of a round and record each others score (then swap back at the end of the round and each golfer is then responsible to verify that his score was recorded correctly and sign the card). So when a golfer plays by himself, who records his score?

The tournament (usga at the us open, pga at the pga) will supply a marker to take score.

He has a marker go out with him to record the score
Sometimes they recruit a non-playing competitor to play with him, called a marker, or merely have a scorecard marker go with him.
the usga provides a marshall for him.
either a rules official, or occasionally the player will request that someone play along with him, usually a low-handicap member of the club. That doesn't happen as much as it used to, these days a player playing alone is usually in a hurry to get done and get home.

Sergio is an idiot. The players have cards that detach at the bottom .. They keep their opponent's score in the top half, and their own score at the bottom. When the round's over, the player detaches their own scores and uses that to check the official card the other player kept. Sergio obviously didn't bother to check and it's not Boo Weekley's responsibility to remember every shot Sergio hit. Sometimes a player forgets that their opponent had to pitch out of the woods and that the put they missed was for par, not birdie. About half of the players verbally tell their opponent what they had on the hole, the others expect that the other player is keeping track, which is pretty self-centered.
